A Colorado court has ruled that the 2012 death of a skier in an in-bounds avalanche at Winter Park resort does not entitle his widow to trump the state’s cap of a resort’s liability. Like Snowshoe, Winter Park is owned by Denver-based Intrawest. The February 13 edition of the Denver Post has the story about the legal wrangles that followed the death of 28-year-old Christopher Norris.
